Valeria Caramagno

She was born in Augusta (SR) on 8th December, 1971. She’s a member of the Register of Architects, Landscape Architects, Planners and Restorers of the city and Province of Rome with n. 16142. She was licensed in Architecture in 1998.

She mainly works on public and private landscape projects, civil constructions and infrastructures. She is now

  • Ph.D. in “Parks and Gardens Design and Spatial Planning” at Reggio Calabria University.
  • Specialized in landscape design, she pays particular attention to the relationship between public space and Architecture.
  • Professor at the “La Sapienza University” in Rome during the Landscape Degree Course in the academic years 2004/2005 and 2006/2007.
  • Project Manager in Bureau B+B, Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning office in Amsterdam (NL).
  • Editor of “AR”, a two-month magazine of the Register of Architects in Rome.
  • Member of “Architettura senza Frontiere onlus”.

Christian Rocchi

He was born in Rome on 4th August, 1969. He’s a member of the Register of Architects, Landscape Architects, Planners and Restorers of the city and Province of Rome n. 12592.

He became a licensed Architect in 1998, and now works as a freelance, training to supervise and manage public and private, complex building sites, both as far as restoration and civil constructions are concerned. He is now

  • Councillor of the Register for Architects of the city and Province of Rome.
  • Founder Member of “Architettura senza Frontiere onlus”.
  • Representative of the Register of Architects of the city and Province of Rome in the ARCE Council.
  • Responsible for some projects funded by EU.
  • Editor of “AR”, a two-month magazine of the Register of Architects in Rome.

Lino Perfetti

He was born in Montasola (RI) on 4th March, 1959. He has been a member of the Register of Engineers of Rieti n. 276 since 1983.

He’s a freelance engineer and, from 1983 up today, he has always worked on Civil Engineering projects, dealing particularly with structure planning and work supervision.

He worked on many reconstruction projects and structural reinforcement of existing buildings, both as Designer and Work Supervisor.

He carried out several works in collaboration with Prof. Ing. Antonio Maria Michetti, with whom, from 2003 to 2006, has funded a professional association, the “MP Ingegneri Associati”.

Matteo Milaneschi

He was born in Grosseto on 6th April, 1982. He lives and works in Rome.

He’s a visual designer and he’s very active in the sphere of multimedia graphics, integrated with interiors and urban space planning. He works as a freelance both as Designer and Creative Director in redevelopment interventions and decoration of public areas.

He’s specialized in Wall-Design and in 2007 he funded the Rubiklab Office, carrying out many works for private and public companies, such as digital decorations for the Pediatric Unit of the “Policlinico Umberto I” of Rome, and renovation of the interiors of the railway station of North Rome, “Monte Mario”.

Francesca Cortese

She was born in Rome on 24th January, 1977. She lives and works in Rome.

She’s a member of the Register of Architects , Landscape Architects, Planners and Restorers of the city and Province of Rome, n.17733.

She became a licensed Architect in 2003. She works as a freelance and she has been collaborating with the chvl Office since 2007. Within the office she has been working on restoration interventions on historical buildings and has been carrying out housing projects. She graduated at the Faculty of Architecture of “La Sapienza” University in Rome, with a thesis on architectural planning: “An exchange junction ( urban and extra-urban train and bus stations) in Maputo, Mozambique.

She’s specialized in Bio-climatic Architecture after obtaining a master’s degree in “Architecture and Sustainability: designing instruments and techniques for environment monitoring” at the ETS of Architecture in Barcelona thanks to a scholarship by “La Sapienza” University in Rome. She collaborated with different architecture offices in Barcelona and Rome (2003-2007). Besides, she works on development and cooperation projects. As a matter of fact, between 2003 and 2005, she collaborated with the NGO “Arquitectos sin Fronteras” in Barcelona and now, she’s been part of the analogous association “Architettura senza Frontiere ONLUS” in Rome since 2005. She carried out cooperation projects and urban, architectural plans from their conception to their development in loco.
